Courtney Senior is a self-taught abstract artist located in Toronto, Canada. From a very young age, she engaged with her creative spirit, dabbling in the arts off and on for years. In her late twenties, Courtney lost her father in a sudden accident and turned to art to help her put all of the emotions she couldn't express verbally into a form that helped her grieve and ultimately helped her heal. Recognizing her immense passion for creating abstract paintings and the power of flow state, Courtney has since pursued her art business.
Positive energy is the essence of all Courtney’s abstract artwork. No matter what the source, the energy she embodies from daily experiences, musings, encounters and often music, is what she is trying to convey through movement, composition and a wide range of colour palettes.
Courtney is also the founder of #ArtandFound, a social movement dedicated to bringing joy and inspiration by way of art to communities around the world. #ArtandFound was started in 2015 in Toronto, Canada when Courtney would leave free artworks around the city for people to find. Since then, artists around the world have joined the movement. The first ever International Art and Found Day was March 12th, 2021 and had over 480 artists across 33 countries participate.

Commission an Abstract Painting
If you’re interested in commissioning an original abstract painting, you’ve come to the right place. The process is simple. First we will discuss the size and colour palette that you’re interested in. If aren’t sure what size or color palette will work for your space, I am happy to make suggestions and create a mock up based on photos of your space. Once we agree on the size and colours, I will create your original abstract painting. When your artwork is complete I will send you photos and a video for your approval. I am more than happy to make adjustments to your artwork to make sure you’re happy with it. No down payment is required and if you’re not completely satisfied with the abstract painting upon its completion, there is no obligation to purchase it. Payment plans are available for commissions as well as international shipping.
